My paramour's parents just took their (live) tree down (this is the same family with a school bus full of junk, blowup dolls and rat crap in their backyard). Apparently, they put up their tree 'really late and it just HAS to stay up for xx days or it's not CHRIIIIIIISTMAS', according to his mother.

They never take the Christmas lights down off their house; they haven't budged in the 6+ years I've known them. Occasionally some 'Valentines Day' lights will show up for a few months.
