With this thread, I hearby challenge mikes007 to a HUHU duel that will consist of 7 play money sngs in stars home games for an amount totaling no less than $50, and no more than $100.

This isnt about the money though. This is about regaining the dignity and honor of the fallen BQ soldiers bumblebee99 and papapyrite. These men have went down this path before, and failed to return prosperously. I intend to crush mikes soul.

The games will be consisting of:

NLHE
PLO
LHE
PLO/8
Stud-hi
Razz
NL 2-7 SD

In no particular order. The date is yet to be determined, but will be shortly forthcoming. As previously mentioned, sidebets are encouraged, but with this in mind:

Problem with aging gunslingers like Mike is there is always some fresh "hot dog" trying to take him down, some angle, some way to get the rep. 2nd problem is gunslingers all age, the new young guns shoot them down mercilessly. Waffles got green now will make his bones to Mikes detriment. Thats my prediction. But being old myself I am sentimental and will support Mike as best I can.

I have no reason to believe Mike can withstand this challenge. Mike is getting on, not even leading in SHENANIGANS fish games anymore, so as far as betting on him, meh, ya I will for old times sake so long as I get correct odds. With regard to betting with SpaceBat, I will offer a one time exception and take the bet even because SpaceBat has lost sooooo many times in the past. But you had better take the bet while I am still feeling charitable bat.

The games will almost certainly be played in the shanoobigans home game Arty. Can't remember the club id/password (obviously.bogus is club big cheese) - there is a thread that gives them from early 2011 says shanoobigans home games or something.

To be clear, mike already accepted this challenge, he is just lazy when it comes to posting on the forums.

I don't really like Mike's chances here because the games list is skewed in Waffles favor. I have Mike as a slight favorite in LHE and NLHE. I see Waffles as a solid favorite in PLO, wtfSD 2-7, and PLO/8. The two stud games are reasonably close but Waffles has a thin edge in them I think. So it would appear Waffles should be about a 1.2:1 favorite in my mind.

Obviously either player can win any of the games since huhu is notoriously swingy but I have to go with the obvious, i.e. Waffles has to be favored.

I will take Mike and win $11 if he wins and lose $10 if he loses.

You are a hustler Bona! Clearly Mike is going to win this, you simply cannot beat a luckbox, waffle is a great player but has little chance against "the luckbox machine" in a HU duel where Mike can play so much more aggressive.

Anyone trying to get odds while taking Mike is just crazy, I think the line should be 1.5:1 on waffle, but I am ecstatic that I was able to book Mike at even.

Mike also "luckboxed" his way to making play at the ****ty RPM private SNG tables, not the quilted tables at Poker Stars.

I don't know where you are getting this from. Mike is experienced at stud, and cannot be an underdog in those 2 games. 2-7wtfSD is totally wtf, which is why I chose it that one could definitely go either way.

As regards omaha - I know for a fact that he has been reading a book about these games lol !

If you are so sure Mike is a dog here, I will be charitable and take that side of the bet at evens, my $10 on Mike v your $10 on waffle.
