What's up guys?
I have been playing mostly 9 max reg/turbos for my PG&C thread. I am looking into mixing some tournaments in when I have time for longer sessions and have some questions about formats.
What are your favorite formats and why? I like KOs and freezeouts, but I notice prize pools are a lot smaller.
What is a good payout structure in your opinion? Top heavy or dispersed?
Any other tips for finding good tournaments would be greatly appreciated! I am sticking to a 75-100 BI plan, so I can play $3 tournaments with the occasional $5/10 in there. Thanks in advance!

Not fussed about payout structure or format, you just adapt, I'm more interested in making sure that there isn't a ton of dead time as a result of bad blind structure

for SNGs I like top heavy because you should be confident you are one of the best in the fields and put a solid amount of effort into final table / HU situations, I don't like PKO / knockouts for SNGs since as you said, much smaller prize pools + higher effective rake.
Structures slower the better to get more hands in vs less skilled players, but I also enjoy turbos as if you are confident in your sub 20bb game you can play many tables at a time for a higher overall hourly and they don't last as long. (don't reccomend mass multi tabling unless you are used to it though without it effecting your game)
