Not a life coach, but even I can see you need a time-out to reset your life priorities. As for poker, all the training in the world won't help, if you have no sense of bankroll management. All the best.

i dont have the answer because i've never been a winning player, but im quoting it so that someone else might notice and give you good advice. I hope with all my heart that you don't go broke, hitting rock bottom is no good and I don't wish that on anyone man. always have money to eat and sleep

hi
Just watched the first 2 minutes of that video. What on Earth lol.

OP, take a week off poker and find the answer to this question: What do you want? Do you want to be a poker player? Do you want to get promoted at your job? What is it that drives you?

I have gone through phases like this, but that's just what they are -- phases. It won't be all bad forever my man. Keep your chin up.

When you find the answer to this question dig a little deeper. Why do you want what you want? What is stopping you from getting it? And I don't mean "I don't have time" but what is the real reason you tell yourself deep down that is stopping you from happiness?

Once you find that, create a specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time based goal to lay out the foundation to your success.

Good luck out there, man. You got this

You can't play good poker when your head is not on straight. Poker can be emotionally stressful. If you are already compromised before you sit down, you are going to crater, and feel even worse.

Winning at poker creates a high, an endorphin rush. It feels good, and you forget your troubles. If you go to play poker ecause your life is unravelling, and you are chasing that high, 1) you are very unlikely to be playing disciplined poker, and 2) you are just hiding from your problems (winning at poker won;t make them go away)

Step away from the game. Process your grief over the breakup, get a job to get the financial pressure off, then get your head clear. Talk to a friend or family member to help you.

You can make a decision here. On one side is a degen lifestyle, on the other is the much more boring idea of stabilizing your life, stabilizing your finances, and getting your head right. Choose well.

Pretty simple and obvious answer, don't play. If your head is not clear nor your emotions not in check, you are just going to piss away more money. I've been playing more than 40 hours a week on average for more than 15 years. I've walked away for more than a month at times you clear my head. The best thing you can do for yourself.
