I lost my DB so don't have previous hands only the latest 10k. But I'm again losing money on the button (all other spots are profitable, even SB and BB - I've been on the heater for the last 10k hands). I play 6max micro stakes zoom. I don't play to win money, I want to just learn and practice for live poker.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm guessing I call too much and not 3bet enough, and make mistakes postflop. Where do I go in pokertracker to see my leaks? What should I do? It really annoys me that I've always been a loser on the button (best position, right?) even though on the CO (theoretically worse position) I always made most of my money.

Thank you guys a lot.

10K is a decent sample size but to show profit in the Blinds and not on the Button lends itself to the 'Heater' comment.

IMO the CO gets more respect in 6-max since you're supposed to know that the Button is behind you yet to act IP.

Not sure how to manipulate PTracker but definitely try to get a look at your opening ranges in all positions.

I'm sure you are going to get some requests for where you play and who your opponents have been as well. GL

10k hands = ~1600 hands from the BTN. Thats still gonna be full of variance.

The sample size is too small to draw conclusions. In your next 10k hands, it's probable that you'll win a lot on the button, but lose in the blinds. (FWIW, I lost money on the button in my last 10k hands. It doesn't happen often, but from time to time I just run badly in a particular position).

Put it this way, you wouldn't ask "What can I do in the blinds to make me start losing like I'm supposed to?". Your results are subject to variance. Just keep playing normally and the results will get closer to the long-term expectation.

7k hands later and you absolute guessed it right. My btn winnings are very close to cuttoff now and blinds' winnings decreased. Or maybe I'm just on a super heater now from the button. How can you ever know anything..? Oh man, I love poker.
