I want to deposit $50 on a online poker site, I mainly play sit n gos What site do you recommend, stars or 888 or any other site, I like to play 2-4 tables I am from the uk

If you're from the UK then you've got a lot more choice than those two - why have you picked those to choose from?

You might do better on Unibet or Party or even Sky, but all the popular sites have various advantages and disadvantages. (e.g. different amounts of traffic, quality of software, rakeback/rewards, usability of HUDs). In the micros, it doesn't really matter which site you pick, but last I heard, the SNGs on 888 were either dead or full of Eastern European nitreg pros. I think you'll have more fun (and probably grow your bankroll faster) on another site.

They certainly were exactly this last time I played SNGs on 888...about 2.5 years ago.

Plus the software was dogpooh.

I used 888 briefly a while back because I thought the standard might be lower in micro/small stake sng's. It is noticeable lower but I couldn't stomach the software. When you'r used to Star's software, 888's is painful. At certain times of the day I was waiting for 15 - 20 minutes for one 6max sng to fill on 888. I have some beefs with Stars but I doubt I'll ever switch. I think they'r aware that a lot of people are in that position, hence the cutbacks.

Right now, I think the 1 euro 5-player SNGs on Unibet are a good bet. I played a handful today as I had some free tickets. 70% of the field is completely clueless or just doesn't care about playing correctly, perhaps because it's pretty easy to get free tickets for them. It's not uncommon to see someone just open jam J8o for lolz on the first hand.

Having played there with a 'ticket' I can confirm that 70% of the cash players were also clueless and weak af. It's literally just a matter of time untl you stack everyone at the table.

This should see you grow your roll rather quickly imo.

Where in the UK are you? Can you get to Nottingham easily? If so I'd say have a look at PartyPoker. They've got some great tourneys that end up with live finals in Nottingham. I'm going down to play the DTD200 this weekend from a free ticket. Early stages are a bit of a mess but lots of poker for nothing.

I would say Stars. The software is amazing, and the games are relatively soft. If you want to play 4 tables, ya might want to think about increasing that deposit!
