Vs Nits or players who are recs and play tight on the bubble, are we shoving more hands or less when IP or blind vs blind?

I would guess we shove more since they are are tight and won't call with as many hands? But when they do call we are usually dominated. Just wondering your thoughts. Thanks!

This is true in general when you're stealing on the bubble, it'll just be more true vs nits, but yeah we definitely want to steal relentlessly until they show signs of fighting back.

A lot of this depends on the stack sizes of who you are shoving in to as this is everything when it comes to ICM consideration.

Another major factor is the blind levels, a call when you incorrectly shove 26bb's (when blinds are say...50/100) vs a nit is different when you shove only 6bb's vs the same nit (when blinds are say...325/750).

Raising/shoving wider vs nits/rec tight players, in general, is the correct strategy. You have to call a much tighter range then you would when shoving.
