Sometime my pokerstars client freezes up due to bad connection or something and take 30 seconds until it connects back. These hands seem to always get lost and not added to my pokertracker. Is there anyway to fix this?

hi buka, do you mean hands that took place during the time you were disconnected or the hand in which you were disconnected?

Either way in regards to the hand that you were disconnected it's likely throwing an error on the import because it is an incomplete handhistory that would be written to you harddrive. have you checked when this happens to see if there are any errors during the import?

i had this same issue on 888 at one point when I was grinding some cash and unfortunately wasn't any way to correct it. With stars however if you know the hand # you could request the history, or just your last 100 hands even if it fell within that and then reimport them. it will weed out any duplicates.

This happened to me a lot with 888's buggy software, I think during routine crashes and disconnections. Hasn't happened yet with Stars. As said above, I don't think 888 records hand histories remotely, so you might just be screwed if it's 888. What site are you playing at?

I am at pokerstars. I requested the hand history and found the missing hand. What happens is, I will lay a bet or raise then it disconnects. By the time I reconnect the player had folded. How do I go about adding a raw hand into PT4?

I'm not sure. Using HM now. But it has gotta be possible.

Stars has had some problems recently. If you ask support to send you the hands, save them on your desktop and then just manually import them into HEM using the Home>Settings button.

play poker > get hands from disk > select files

As per what Arty said, do I have to email stars specifically? I received the missing hand from stars via request last 100 hands to email. How do I input the raw text data into a file so I can import it through the file method? Just copy it to a word doc?

Copy it from the email and paste it into a text file using something like NotePad. I assume PT4 has instructions on their FAQs if you need detailed instructions. We have a FAQ for it in HM2 but I can't link to FAQs outside of our support thread.
