So i was a bit bored and looking at pokerstars Fifty50 tournaments and decided to check the rake pokerstars was charging.

At the $1.50 NL Hold'em [Turbo, Fifty50] there are 10 players with buy-in $1.39+$0.11 giving us a total price pool of 1.39*10=13.90 .
However first 5 players are paid out their buy-in without rake + 0.04 per 100chips, this adds up to: 5*1,39 + 0.04 * ((1500*10)/100)= 6,95 + 6 = 12,95 . So the players pay 15 dollars, price pool is supposed to be 13,90 and than they only pay out 12,95???

Maybe i didnt see something and/or i am miscalculating, in that case i am sorry beforehand. If my calculations are correct players are paying (2,05/15=)13,7% rake instead of (1,1/15=) 7,3%, which i feel is very dishonest and frankly a scam.

According to the PS website, your calculation method is wrong.

Always a good idea to make a thread calling something a SCAM before double checking math.

I edited "SCAM" out of thread title and added "and payouts".

I llayed those guys in the past, wasted of time. I would reccomend don't play those games.
