i have played poker for fun for a couple of years but i have been a winning player and i think i can make a lot of money in my country by taking it more seriously but at the same time i like sports betting and i know a lot about soccer teams in my country and i think i can make a profit there but i understand it requires a lot of time and energy. do you think it is possible to pursue both poker and sports betting at the same time and make a profit or you can make a bigger profit by sticking to only one and work hard on it?

I think it's possible but it won't be easy. Keep it simple, prioritize, and execute your plans. Keep us posted on how it goes!

lots of poker players make money. very few sports betters do.
with poker you can tell if you are playing a losing game. not so with sports betting until you have nothing left.

nothing to share if you really believe you can make a lot at either you are going to do it no matter what is said. and good luck to you. you will need it.

if you want to improve start following the forums and post real questions about problems and things. you will find help.

my problem is that which one is more profitable and creative in the long run. is it plausible to think that you can make a lot of money from online poker in the long run if you dedicate yourself to it or the game will be practically solved and there is hardly going to be an edge in the long run and i better focus on sportsbetting. i want something that is not just a grind and there is creativity and fulfillment involved and in the long run and you can play against the best and think that you can still have an edge and it is not a matter of who gets the best cards. i don't want to devote my time to a game that is going to be basically RPS in the long run in the top level.

poker has the better future. sports betting is limited and you cannot bet all the time. if you bet too often then it is certain you wont beat it.
two different games. so two different strategies and things to learn.
plus if betting with bookies if you start winning too often they wont take your bets anymore.

NLHE (not poker) is still a long way off being solved, if it ever can be solved, and poker's been around for a lot longer than NLHE has been, and will be around after the glorious day when most casuals realise that it's a boring game where they have no edge and move on to other more interesting variants.
