UTG/UTG+1 folds & then 2 limps & you have AJo, with 5 players behind. 3 have absolute position on you.

Your stack is ~$400 & the Button, CO & HJ have you covered. SB & BB have about $300 each.

Do 2+2ers subscribe to raising here? I either limp, if I think the table dynamic gives me a 80+% chance of seeing the flop, or I fold. I am only calling because I believe I can make a decent amount of money post-flop, should I hit the flop.

Would you be more inclined to raise here with 78s/89s? If so, how much?

I like a squeeze to about 20. Make the limpets identify their range. Also probably squeeze out goofy hands behind you.

I'd raise virtually all the time with AJo, 98s, or 87s in this spot. How much I would raise would depend on table dynamics. You are throwing away a lot of value by limping AJo here.

I would usually raise AJo here and fold 98ss. I'm not overlimping either hand in this position.

Limping too much gives 'all' the hands above and below unseen advantage over you. Sure, you can hit a few nice Flops but typically if you hit then everyone else folds out in a limp pot.

Table dynamic and Hero image are key components to this .. and as you alluded to a little, the ability to get away from your hand even if you get a nibble.

you have to raise here because if not you are not getting enough value from top hands.
i am not crazy about raising with 78 kind of hands but it depends on game flow.

Why are you not at least overlimping 89ss? Raising seems best by a mile, but folding seems like the worst possible thing you can do in this situation.

I'm not raising 9 high into 2 limpers with 5 people yet to act and I don't want to limp-call with it OOP. I fold ATo here as well.

Don't limp AJ like ever. It's not a limping hand that plays well multi way. You can raise it from MP depending on the people behind you such as if there's an aggo slag otb who loves to 3bet wide, then just fold.
