In my home game NLHE tournament last night ( $60 buy-in, 1- $40 re-buy), blinds were at $40-$80 ... post-flop a guy bets $100.

One guy said "it has to be min $80 or min raise= $160".

Another guy said "He's leading-out, he can bet any amount, he can bet $1 ... It's no limit"

So, what do you guys think ?

They are both wrong. After the flop, the minimum bet is the amount of the big blind - so it does have to be at least $80. And that simply means the minimum. If he wants to do more than that he can make it any amount more than that - $81 is fine. He is not raising. He is simply betting.

A post flop open must be at least the big blind, so 80. A raise is minimun double for the first raise then the difference between the last 2 bets for a re raise.
Example:

Player A opens for 100
Player B can min raise to 200 or as much as he likes. He raises to 257.
Player A wants to re raise, the minimum is not 514, but
414 (157 more because that's how much the previous raise was)

Any bet needs to be 1BB at minimum. 100 is fine, 1 is obviously not fine. Both are wrong.
