I'm trying to put together pot odds, equity and EV. I'm just wondering if I'm working everything out OK with this HH.

Maybe not the brightest play preflop but folding seemed too weak and raising too strong.

After looking at the HH seems like a bit of an overbet but I figured they are calling anyway from the pot size

So on the flop my pot odds are 4:1 so it looks below break even (need 4.56:1 to break even) if I just call. But it seems my implied odds are bad because I'm OOP so calling there seems to scream draw.

I'm trying to see if my push was +EV or not.

My equity is 36% to hit by the river, so card odds being 1.78.

I don't think about the odds I'm giving when I push right?
I think I might have had this confused, looking at the HH I saw I'm giving my 1st opponent odds of 1.85:1 so it looked ok at first. I don't think I'm doing this part right though (looking at giving odds when all in)

9 outs so my Equity is 36%, I don't think an A K etc will help me against them.

EV is is - $2.05 ??? What am I missing here?

I know this was long but thank you in advance for helping me get something straight that should have been in my game long ago, but somehow I managed nice winrate at 25NL after 70k+, and after moving up to 50NL my winrate has been slashed in half and I think this is a big part of it.

I messed up on that part earlier but wanted to fix it since I just found it.

Basically its not 3:1 like it said, its 1.8:1


So Lose $48.20 x 1.8 = -$86.76
Win $142.55 x 1 = $142.55

EV is actually + $55.79

That actually sounds closer to what it should be, am I correct?

Just curious, what happens if you win a sat. to something like the sunday mill., forget to unregister for T$ and win another sat?
