What sort of hands do you think he can hold when he raises you on the flop, and when you call giving him effectively a pot sized bet on the turn, what was your plan assuming the board comes a jack or lower?

Button has position, has played the hand well, and is just going to stack you a lot here. His stats indicate he has a decently wide range and is on the more aggressive side, which means he'll be making this sort of move with TPTK + Flush draws MUCH more often than sets in this situation. Therefore when he pops me on the flop the way he did I am insta-jamming right then and there with the Kd as my oh **** parachute card.

QUESTIONS REGARDING MAKING DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWING from 888 POKER

I play at 888 poker. Recently due to some reasons my neteller account (that was linked to my 888 account) has been frozen temporarily until I submit some documents to get it back. Now I am unable to deposit/ withdraw from my 888 account. Now what should I do? Can I deposit from another account and withdraw my money from it? Does 888 allow this like depositing from multiple neteller account and all? Besides as long as I know 888 doesn't permit to withdraw funds transferred from another account until same amount of money is played there. Please help me out guys. Have a nice day. Thanks in advance

unless you're in a jurisdiction whereby the only way you can deposit is via neteller, just deposit using a bank card like normal people would, then as mrno says send neteller your documents.

How am I meant to post hand histories? I haven't done this in a while. This is the raw text I have from Merge Network (Carbon Poker). I distinctly remember posting hand histories there back in the day. I keep getting errors from FlopTurnRiver's hand history converter, and DeucesCracked.

If I'm not doing something wrong please tell me.

I don't know anything about those converters but the 2+2 built in converter is currently down. I PM'd Chuck Weinstock about it but haven't got a reply from him yet. If you have HM2, PT4 or Drive HUD you can convert directly from the tracker's hand history viewer to 2+2 forum format.

When people say "never bluff" are they talking about c-betting missed flops as well as all other bluffs?

It seems obvious that if you c-bet a flop you missed, you're bluffing. But it seems like some people don't consider c-betting bluffing.

Just reading through books and stuff, a lot of them say to never bluff at micro stakes or whatever, then will talk about when to c-bet.

You're exactly right that the word "bluff" can be used a lot of different ways. For example, betting preflop with speculative hands such as A3 or 67 is called a "semibluff" because it can turn into a straight, flush or big draw with the right flop.

you can also straightup "bluff" preflop with 72o....but that is a semi-bluff as well since 72o can make a dandy 2 pair or trips on the flop. (I do not recommend you play 72o or any other weak hands). Preflop bluffs should usually be confined to CO or Bttn positions and are typically called squeezes or steal attempts. BOTH have their spots in the micros. PF bluffs are successful if you have a good read on your opponents. Find the weak-tights (folders) and bluff them relentlessly until THEY adjust.

You should bluff in the micros......... You don't need to bluff in the micros, but (1) your winrate will be lower and (2) what better place to learn the proper spots to bluff?....wait until you hit 50NL?...lol.

CBet "bluffs" to me are very much a read based decision. Stationary opponents are not a good target. Weak-tighties....oh yeah, all you can eat baby. Number of opponents matter as well. Finally, I am much more likely to CBet a semi-bluff which afford me outs when behind.

If you never bluff a river you'll struggle to beat 10NL in 2017.

Is there a way to estimate rake in bb/100 from the percentage of the pot raked and the cap? If not what would be a decent sample for estimating rake attributed?
