This is, however, purly mathematical and doesnt take tilt in to concideration.
Its somewhat clear you have a negative approach to poker (Also known as being weak-tight. Congratz, you have been diagnosed with: Monsters under the bed syndrom - we've all had it, and once you get rid of it you can start thinking clearly about ranges and thinking along the lines "Okay, if villian calls, I expect him to be behind 55% of the time thus a bet is +ev" and not "Ohh, he could have suckedout on me - so ill check the river just incase")
its all well and good to minimize losses if your behind... but you gotta maximise winnings when ahead! - This is minmax... currently it seems all your doing is minimising losses because your terrified of loosing - so your not effectivly maximise winnings.
Go away and play 100k hands of online poker... The cooler in your example will become standard very quickly. Especially after your first real downswing - which will crush your sole
