indeed those changes were annoying , i wanted to switch to a hyper turbo sng format , i grow tired of zoom , nevertheless i still grind at least 1k hands per day on zoom fr.
I also think that release of new expansion of wow has an effect on people , im actually surprised there are so many gamers among poker players.
ohh do you mean the rake changes that I saw recently? I just started playing on betfair. Seems pretty good so far. I havent played on pokerstars because somehow my account is negative 30 dollars from a long time ago and I dont feel like dealing with that right now haha.
Ya I can see gamers getting into poker. I'm a gamer and I like rpg's and all that but I also am very competitive. I like poker because its a game (and an interesting one) and its very competitive.
So how`s WoD so far? I`ve read that the subscriber population (once again) skyrocketted. Got half mind to reopen mya cct (yet again) to try it out.
I have liked it so far.
I think it's worth giving it a 1 month try. Leveling experience is nice, and garrisons are fun.
But if you are trying to progress in poker, then hell no for wow. Wow can get addictive pretty easily.
I am currently trying to transition back to poker. Since in the end WoW is nothing but a waste of time (money-wise), but it is fun to play with friends, unlike poker
River:(87 BB, 2 players) Q SB bets 58.06 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 57 BB and is all-in
Spoiler:
Hero shows K T (Full House, Tens full of Queens)
(Pre 29%, Flop 20%, Turn 14%) SB shows A T (Full House, Tens full of Queens)
(Pre 71%, Flop 80%, Turn 86%) Hero wins 97.5 BB SB wins 97.5 BB
I have liked it so far.

I know exactly what you mean, used to play main tank of progress guild back in BC, after that only at start of each expansion just to try out the changes and see how the game progresses.
I`ll rather stay clear off of it, just to be on the safe side
Damn poker is drawing me back... Just installed all the software needed on my new SSD. I think i'll wait until december before starting again though but who knows I might fire up some tables tonight if I get bored.
Zoom hand on PS - have no stats bc cant use HUD on crappy laptop.
Utg opens 3bb
everyone folds.
Hero Btn KK flats bc SB is tagged as a fish
SB folds
BB calls (russian) - have note saying he min opened 98s utg and pot bet flop, turn and shoved river when flush completed on 99xxx board.
(9.5bb)
flop: T44r
BB checks
UTG checks
I bets 5bb
BB raises to 18bb
utg folds
I call
I checked turn bc i thought there was a high probability he had air and was going to fold to a bet and bluff the river. The only reason i questioned calling the river is bc i of my note that he pots it with strong hands.
He also had a 80bb stack if that makes a difference.
Tbh i'm not sure if <100bb stack means fish if the player is from russia bc i see a lot of regs (esp nitty regs) who don't auto top up.
He guys. Not posted in one of these in a while. I think.
Update :
Got a coach on a no win no fee basis for sit and goes.
Took 3rd at The Nuts Poker Scottish Nationals for £790. 1st got £1800 and a week in vegas. So a tad disapointed, as you can see.
Also got a part time job with plenty of overtime. Go me.
I might play a few more hands later, but I'm pretty much done for the month. And, it was a very weird month, with no volume to speak of.
Started with a 7 buy-in downswing that destroyed my motivation and forced me to move back to 5NL. When I could be bothered to play, I completely crushed.
Brag: Beat 5NL/6NL for over 20bb/100 while running below EV.
Beat: Lost at 100bb/100 at 10NL.
Variance: Finished the month with 1c less than I started it.
Meaningless samplesize, but I may as well post the giraffe.
Probably not gonna play much in December. Family > Poker.
Past few days I've dropped around 10 buyins at 5nl. My game is shot to pieces, I instatilt as soon as I lose a pot no matter how small, and I am constantly confused with what line I should be taking and what the hell I should be doing both pre and post. Zoom sucks, becausr a line of weakness from one villain can equal a line of strength for another.
*sigh*
My first downswing and confirmation that I suck. I'm so proud.
Gonna drop to 2nl again and multitable all nitty like, get my confidence back up again.
So I have played about 9k hands this week and am down 20 bucks on mostly nl10 and some no 20. I also too a shot at nl50 and lost a buy in. Super bummer about the week. Kinda silly though considering its very common for people who play several thousand hands a day to lose over a period of a week (and maybe more?). Not to say its all variance. I have made my fair share of mistakes. But I guess I need to focus on the progress my game is making. I just got hem2 on a free trial basis right now and am learning a lot. Started learning about combos and using that to work on range reading. Overall I should be happy with the week I think. Not to mention rakeback is a life saver. Technically my BR is way up thanks to it.
