NL10 to NL200 experiment - finding a way to beat each limit

ok, im kinda bored right now and have nothing to do (except exam revision ). i could be playing mid stakes on full tilt but the games arent very good atm (4pm UK time, 11am EST) and i want to do something relaxing. so im going to try an experiment on pokerstars....

i have $383 randomly left on there. instead of playing ridiculously underolled, i am going to give something back to twoplustwo beginner forum by attempting to grind it up starting from NL10. i have zero experience of NL10 and very minimal experience of NL25 (i switched to cash at NL50), so it should be quite challenging, and i want to see if i can highlight the differences i find at the various levels as i move up, using specific hands to demonstrate.

im not going to use this as a blog or anything like that so i hope it doesnt get locked.

i wouldnt be playing anything above NL100 if it wasnt for twoplustwo (im currently playing NL400 on full tilt), so i feel like i owe the community something. with a bit of luck i can post some strategy in the near future that will help a lot of micro stakes grinders improve their games and move up.

the plan:

* use proper bankroll management - at least 20 buy ins for each level
* move from NL10 to NL200 asap on pokerstars (i.e. get from $383 to $4000)
* play at least 10,000 hands at each level
* i will be playing roughly 6 tables at a time on average.
* im gonna play mostly UK day time.
* post some strategy on here now and again relating to good spots i get myself into (im purposely going to play kinda laggy so i can get into some good spots with regs)

and so the experiement begins...

hint for micros: shrink bluffing range (to zero?), expand value range. watch money accrue.

i must say what you are doing almost certainly cant be labeled an experiment ....as you have no hypothesis that is being tested.

DUCY?

idk if i could even do this now, i would get super bored playing std hands vs stations all day. gl

btw if bad games are stopping you playing, just drop down to whatever limits where you can beat the daytime games.

Re: NL10 to NL200 experiment - finding a way to beat each limit

dont understand why im being flamed tbh. its not like im trying to make a brag here or anything, im just trying to offer something back to the forums. i know lots of people here play NL10, and i think it might be useful to some of them. especially if i can offer something more conventional than "dont bluff ever"

if its not useful to you, then fine, but why spam a thread that some people might find helpful??
