Re: lil BRM advice

start at the bottom, even tho you have enuf to play higher. Spend a week at the lowest level, then move up one level per week until you find a SKILLZ level where you may be on a plateau

Bankroll management only applies to winning players, so start at very low stakes, develop your skills until you feel you're a winner at that level, and then transition to the next level.

Re: lil BRM advice

5/26 you essentially started the same thread. Please don't multipost the same topic. If you like, you should have bumped the old thread once to see if more would respond.

There are thousands.....yes, I said thousands of threads asking "Should I get" "Do I need" "Will it do me any good" to get HEM or Pokertracker. A simple search using the tool at the top of the threads would get you enough information for you to make your own decision.

20 buyins for $50 PLO seems lower than low. Even if you have experience in the games that you say,,,, you should know how close you are to going out.

Re: lil BRM advice

The question is not "What stakes can I play with this amount of money?". The question is "What limit am I confident I can beat, and how much money do I need to maximize profit while minimizing risk?"

What makes you think you can beat 50PLO? Nothing you have said so far would lead me to believe you're a winner at those stakes. Why do you want to short stack? Do you realize that by short stacking you drastically reduce the number of streets your average hand will play through, which reduces the edge you have against weaker players and forces you to get all-in preflop in marginal spots against stronger players, which reduces your winrate, which dramatically increases your risk of ruin when you only have 20 buyins?
