Finally played first casino game 1/2Nl. Bought in at 50bb cashed out with 271 with 171 profit and booked a winning session for my first session ever. Played three hands and won two. pretty standard stuff though.

Also, good to hear your first ever session went well. Care to share any of the hands?

Lol my phone beats my ass sometimes. First hand I played was kk guy in ep raised 12 I'm in mp raised 18 folded around to him and he folded then second hand I was mp had one limp to me I raised 15 with kk guy in lp raises to 35 I called and took it down by sucking out on river with a set against his pocket aces. I got lucky yes and can't actually remember all the details. It was so much to take in and I still have do much to learn. I'm going back with friend again think two weeks from now. Will be more prepared though

Re: Learning my outs

The second hand you should just re-raise with the Kings and try to get it in, especially since you're less than 100 bb's deep. You have to be able to put your opponent on Aces with a very, very high degree of accuracy before you can think about folding, and otherwise you should just play them as though they are Aces. A lot can go wrong if you see a flop, especially out of position. An Ace could flop and you get no more action from QQ, or JJ, which may have stacked off against you preflop. Or, an Ace flops and you end up getting bluffed off the best hand. I can certainly understand your trepidation as it's your first time, though.

Well second hand I had about140 behind. He was playing very wide ranges limping anything and was fit or fold post flop. Like I said this time I played 3 hours and was still catching on to things. I was really trying to understand images and what was happening on the table etc. I didn't put him there but called hoping heed stay in thinking he was worse. Lot of the table was Vertu passive and limping and calling. I figured a raise from him would mean better and I got lucky. Thank you though. I still have so much to learn
