Yeah i'd say a micromillions rail thread will spring in the next couple of days. You going to play many events?
Cool, I got a $50 bonus so going to enter 14 non turbo tournaments that start in the morning in uk. Funny how I hit my worst losing streak just after I get that bonus and before the micromillions lol
Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with A A
UTG+1 calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.40, 6 folds, BB raises to $1.20, UTG+1 raises to $49.02 and is all-in, Hero calls $12.96, BB calls $5.13 and is all-in
Flop: ($33.10) 6 A 9 (3 players, 2 are all-in) Turn: ($33.10) 2 (3 players, 2 are all-in) River: ($33.10) 2 (3 players, 2 are all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $33.10 pot ($1.49 rake)
Final Board: 6 A 9 2 2
BB showed K K and lost (-$6.33 net)
UTG+1 showed 3 3 and lost (-$13.36 net)
Hero showed A A and won $31.61 ($18.25 net)
When he called, I put him on a range of TT, JJ, AK, potentially AQs. I cbet the flop to get unpaired high cards to fold.
Does that not seem like a decent squeeze spot to you?
what other info do you have on the vil2 who called? not trapping because there are no 3 betters behind doesn't make sense to me, why couldn't he limp with a small pp or medium pp?
for me, at the micros, i don't like squeezing unless i've got a decentish hand as many don't have fold buttons at the micros

What kind of information do you think's relevant? I'm asking out of genuine curiosity - 500 hand sample so decent FT3B accuracy (both had 90+ over 20+ samples), but because of the high FT3B stuff like 'FTCB in 3bet pot' is completely unreliable (1 or 2 hand samples, lol).

how tight is he? is he a loose player? A tight player can be limping here with a small-medium pp. A loose player will be more willing to play marginal hands, how marginal depends on if he's towards the decent or idiot end of the loose spectrum. I don't understand what you mean by he won't be trapping as no 3 betters are behind him, why/how would this discount small-medium pps if he's tight.
Also, in general, after 500 hands, do you view him as competent or a bit of an idiot (if you recognise him at all, and he isn't just a number but a name). Is he able to recognise a squeeze? is he playing a marginal hand because of looseness of raiser and will he recognise you're also trying to take advantage of how looser raiser is. And if he is a tight idiot, is he able to fold a pp or is he one of those who will keep calling no matter what (and unable to spot a squeeze)
maybe i'm wrong, not too sure. fold to 3 bet is a nice stat but I also like to think about what the villian is like as well

BR up to near $540 this month, not had much grinding time (only got ~70 VPPs). looking to play a few micro events and hopefully final bink a big score on stars :P
FINALLY hit the $100 mark for my BR. Time to take a 5BI shot at 4NL. Let's hope I run like Jesus himself. Failing that, like Chris Ferguson from Full Tilt players.
Playing 60-100h now and 80/110t. Backer unfortunately wants to cap at those levels for now What this means is assuming I don't lose heaps by end of month I'll either negotiate something with him so I can play higher (and hopefully increase cut) or drop backing because I'm rolled enough that I can at least play 60s on my own. We'll see what happens
Games on rev still really soft, made peace with a couple of the regs I've been sitting cause no edge but there are always new regwars to have, and there are still a couple regs I sit on sight. I love it! Playing the same guys day in day out, adjusting, trying to find edge. Freakin exciting. Wish I was better at it.
Also been getting in a bit of good strat talk, 3b shoving/non ai range work, some stuff pertaining to 20bb+ play, river play, betsizing. Mostly minor tweaks here and there but I'm feeling really confident about my game and think I'm moving in the right direction. If I keep it up I feel pretty confident that I'll be able to hold my own in the 200s, fend off the regs and have no trouble getting lobbies there when I can finally play that high. Still got more work to do though, plenty of players out there better than me.
Only a few short months ago I was playing $8s on merge (though in the past I'd played 30/60h on stars), it's great to have come so far so fast and I really feel like I'm playing well.
If I have the money would you guys agree that skipping NL2 would be a good idea? I'm thinking of starting at NL5 on Stars. I have a working job so the roll I'll have online won't be a significant portion of my life or anything.
Baluga... So this is a fold. Id also need a good reason to open this pre
Update: 12k hands in... Still not running amazingly. Had a garbage session whilst playing the 005 micros event this evening (Ran badly in that too - Well, I did exactly what I normally do in tournies. Run okay at the start and then complelty dry up after level 2 all the way untill you end up shoiving or folding pre... only to run in to monsters) :/
Anyway, graph is as follows... Red line is okay (-5bb/100) given the fact that I cant seem to get my big hands to SD(like, ever... Never had so many FtFCB 0% over a decent sample snao fold to my cb when I happen to have flopped a full house). Blue line is ugly - infact, it has been rather static for about 80k hands
