Does villain realize you put him on AQ+?
what does villain think your range is?
would villain just call with AQ+ on the flop if you raise the flop?
would villain fold KK on the flop or turn? how often does he have KK?
would villain check the turn with AQ+ if you raise the flop?
would villain call river if it has a flush or straight possible? how much would villain call for?
would villain tilt on future hands if you hit your flush or straight on river when he has AQ, AK and makes a mistake by checking the turn? how often does he have AQ AK?
would villain overplay his Top pair good kicker hands on future hands if you beat him on this hand? would he change from slowplaying to value betting?
Why would villain check the river in this hand bud? Does he put you on 98?
If he has AQ is he going to call a half pot bet on river here? if he has KK will he call half pot bet? will he call a pot sized bet? will he call a over sized bet? or a small bet of 10BB?
how would you play a AQ+ hand if you were villain?
Quote:
I don't know how much to bet on the river because my value range is quite
whatever you believe that villain would call a bet from yourself. if you see villain calling on a river for half the pot against another opponent with top pair good kicker like a AQ AK hand would he do it against you too with his AQ AK hand.

I check this river the vast majority of the time
why would you check this river when you have the best hand?
Unless you want to show villain and the rest of the table that your a calling station on the flop and turn. at the micro cash games most opponents dont over think things if they are even thinking at all.

100bb cash game. Tight UTG villain open raise 3bb AQs+, AQo+. Hero calls with 98 on button. Small and big blind folds
do you put opponent on a big pair too? or just AK AQ?
AA,KK QQ AK AQ vs 98s you are 33%. Would he get it all in if you hit a flush or straight on flop or turn or river. what are your chances of hitting a straight or flush on the flop or turn or river.
You could 3 bet him here preflop to try and get him to check the flop. use your position. if he has check raised flops in the past be more inclined to see a free card if your on a draw.
drawing with implied odds yes bet the river.
you called pf. would he check flops or bet out?
if he would check and not check raise flops you could either take a free card or semi bluff on the flop. would he call a flop that he checks after betting preflop? if so take a free card since semi bluff doesn't have a great effect.
well your a dog with 30 odd percent chance so folding pre flop is also a option. especially is villain will bet out a high % of flops.
