And thin value betting - This directly improves your blue line (if your doing it right), but also indirectly improves your red line the times they fold OTR or earlier...

OP, negative redline is pretty standard at microstakes. Concentrate on playing well and don't worry so much about it, winning at a decent rate is what's important. Actually, making right decisions is important and winning comes as a result of that.

Mine is similar, but I see it improve when taking shots at higher stakes. Higher stakes are still micros fwiw

Yes but you wanted them to call. You don't 3bet AA because you want them to fold and thus improve you redline.

what i was trying to say is that vbetting is when you want worse hands to call, it doesn't improve you redline.

When worse hands fold, it DOES improve you redline but that's not what you wanted.
