I absolutely loved playing online and can't wait for Stars to find its way back to the US and for the DOJ to stop persecuting them...
Best part about playing online was the instant access to games, and the fact you can play anywhere. I'd grind at home, in the library, Starbucks, McDonalds, etc etc.
Grinding online is similar to a lot of professions where someone can be independent and/or work alone: writers, computer programmers, graphic designers, etc etc.

Also, it comes down to what we do on a daily basis, day in and day out. Like someone said upthread, its a marathon not a sprint...
