Frustration Frustration

Hello,

Recently I've been putting hours into studying, looking through threads on here and posting too.

I need to find a level at which I am consistently winning, as I have no idea where to begin, so many different type of tourneys, or should I grind out SnG's, small stakes cash games?

It's frustrating me because I don't know what level to begin with, today I entered a 5.50 bubble rush, got nowhere and an 11 dollar 1.5GTD.. came like 39th out of 60, I only joined that one though since late reg finished 30mins after the tourney start (I don't like long late registrations)

I am being impatient here trying to go for bigger tourneys with abit more of a payout rather than being patient at small stake SnG's or cash games?

Any advice would be hugely helpful.

Thanks

You are likely still in your Learning Phase. Find a game you like to play,,,,,and play trying to make the least mistakes. That should be considered "winning"

It's a hobby. Play what you enjoy. Then if and when you study and practice enough to be a profitable player, then your poker budget, as it is now, will become a bankroll that should be protected with management. Check out the free variance calculators that abound on the net. Play around with different winrates, standard deviations, and risk of ruin factors to see what kind of fun the poker spirits have in store for you.

Everyone gets frustrated at times. It's totally normal.

I do like deep stack tourneys like 5-10 dollar buy ins but they can go on for 6-9 odd hours and I have to spend a lot of time doing my actual job so I need something that doesn't consume as much time

I do enjoy deep stack tourneys just have no time atm for them.. maybe zoom cash games 5nl or something? I find zoom fun as your going onto different tables each hand

I'm looking for opinions on what I'm best going for stake and play wise, like 5nl cash or 2.20 tourneys etc which would be in my best interest to go for and stick to while I learn?

Try all the types that interest you, but my advice would be to start at the bottom of whatever they are.

I like deep stack tourneys but they can go on for ages and my time is restriced due to work etc..

I don't mind a turbo but even they seem to go up quickly with the blinds etc.. anything you could recommend?
