I would like to withdrawal for the first time on Ignition and plan to use bitcoin to do so. This is completely uncharted territory for me so I thought I would test it out before making any substantial withdrawals. I have Blockchain and Coinbase set up for this.

Would it be worthwhile to test with a $50 withdrawal before making larger transactions? I don't know anything about bitcoin but thought I saw that smaller transactions may take longer to be "mined"? Not sure if that's correct. I will eventually be sending the funds to my checking account.

Any tips or words of caution?

Don't send from a poker site to coinbase, nor any merchant. Set up a wallet and send to that. Then from the wallet send anywhere.

Yeah, you could make a smaller transaction. Just have them send it to your Blockchain wallet. Not sure about the mining times. I know none of my transactions have taken a particularly long time, but with BTC prices so high it may take a bit longer due to a lot of traffic.

Follow-up question. I logged in to Blockchain to get my wallet address. I selected the "receive" option and copied the address and pasted it into Ignition on the withdrawal screen. I submitted the cashout request from Ignition.

What I wasn't sure of was am I only generating the unique address in Blockchain or do I need to ALSO complete the fields in Blockchain? It asked for an amount and the reason for request. Then it gave you the option to complete the request in Blockchain.

So do I submit the request in both Ignition and Blockchain with matching amounts, or do I only generate the unique address in Blockchain and make the request from Ignition.

FWIW I did complete and submit the requests from both sites. Hope that was correct. This is why I'm testing it I guess with a smaller amount.
