thanks for the congrats everybody, btw. things could not have gone better since my arrival. Got that job immediately, was able to painlessly open a new bank account (no Chase in Asheville, and BoA is the devil), had some of the best japanese fast food in my life, and was able to explore a good part of the city today...walked about 7 miles in all according to my handy app. There are some cool as **** shops downtown...somebody is going to get a very interesting secret santa gift this year

Time to start subtracting

Thank you all for the well wishes. This exact thing happened 2 years ago. Take him to one hospital , they diagnose him with appendicitis , take him by ambulance to a kids hospital because there is not a surgeon who will operate on kids , kids hospital watches him , and he is fine the next day.

Yes , we learned our lesson this time to just cut out the middle man and go to the childrens hospital if it happens again.

So he is back home now. I guess there are lymph nodes by the appendix that can swell and give the symptoms of appendicitis. And that's what all the trouble was.

So combined , we missed 4 days of work , and 3 days of school , and I was forced to drive into the big ****hole known as Toledo.

I am so glad he is ok tho. And also reminded of how much I love living out in the country every time I go to a big city.
