Does anyone here who plays at party poker and thinks that the fast forward time bank is ridiculous?
Only few seconds, yo can't take a decision at other table that you get sit out.
Is it true or just my mind tricking me?

if you need more than a few seconds to make a decision then you're doing something wrong

Yeah the time bank there is ridiculous. Preflop it's ok, as you basically don't have much of a decision, but post flop it should be a little longer.

Maybe the game is called 'fast forward' instead of 'slow forward' for more than one reason?

Don't play more than one table if you can't handle the time bank. Or play regular tables instead.

Have you guys saying that it's ok actually played there? I've played on lots of sites and have never experienced such little time bank. You don't need pokerstars level time bank but you need a few seconds to type in your bet sizing ect.

Well then don't play those tables.

Thanks for the love <3
this comments are ridiculous... we have a great community here
so, i play in other sites and party has the lowest time bank i've ever played.
that argument "if you need more than a few seconds to make a decision then you're doing something wrong" AHAHHAHAHAHAHA

i don't know about you guys but i like to think when i play LOL

Your thread is ridiculous. Obviously the small timebank is meant for players that don't like waiting and since most (all?) other sites have relatively huge timebanks it's good that they offer it. If you don't like it you can play other tables, no problem. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it ridiculous.

Then play on a table where you can think. Zoom-style products are for people that don't want to be slowed down, either by mass tabling hudbots or players who are just slow, if you don't like it, don't play it

I know, right? I have kind of the same problem. I like to play Omaha but there are too many cards in my hand to think about. It would be better if they just reduced it to two.

Yes, I've played them and the time bank is shorter than the one at PokerStars.

But if you are playing just one table, the time bank is long enough to make a decision.

If you can't think fast enough to play 2 tables at the same time, you might want to stick to one game at a time?

You didn't complain about having too little time to think but about having too little time at your second table while thinking about your decision at the first one. That's just not a legitimate complaint unless somebody forces you to multitable.

Can't wait for a thread to pop-up that complains about having only 240 seconds on their PokerStars tournament time bank while they are trying to bake a cake and clean up the bathroom.

don't say my age because it's illegal and i can be banned

so, if someone makes a thread talking about rakeback of pokerstars i imagine that the answers will be like:
"don't like? play in other site"
"if you don't like, don't play poker"

that's the attitude, right?

"or it's my mind tricking me?"

Actually yes, you're right. If you don't like the product one site offers, punish them by playing at the competition. It's pretty basic but you seem to be completely dumbfounded by it.

I can't remember the last time that I used a time bank. I've never had to use more than the initial 20 seconds or whatever it is on the site that I'm playing that day any time this year over the almost 300 MTTs that I've played.

If you want to improve your game, perhaps you should work on learning, and sometimes memorizing, different situations that come up, so you won't have to figure them out at the table.

EXAMPLE: If you have two overcards to the flop, you know that you have six outs. Those six outs give you 6.83 to 1 odds against hitting one of your overcards.* It doesn't take any high-level math to estimate whether you're getting odds of around 7 to 1. You usually won't be getting anything close to that. The math says that you usually shouldn't call with overcards. You don't need to think about it.

This is close to automatic for me because I made flash cards for odds and outs and memorized those numbers, as well as the numbers for many other poker situations. I have played almost 300 MTTs this year and I have never used a timebank or extra time.

----------

*pokersyte.com will give you the numbers for many situations, some of which you haven't probably haven't thought about. For example, if you're at a short table, what are the odds that if you are dealt an ace, no one else at the table has one? This site will tell you that and a lot more about how to use math to make poker decisions.

Party doesn't have 20 seconds. It has about 5 seconds, if that. Don't know why there's so much negativity against the OP. Not like he was rude or anything.

I don't play on Party any more. Mostly because the player pool is, imo, the hardest Fast games by a wide margin and 2 because of the time bank. I still play on Party for tourneys and the time bank is a lot longer, same with reg tables.

On the bright side, it means your opponents have the same amount of time. If you are good enough, your edge should be bigger.

Whilst this is true, there are going to be times when something gets in the way of your decisions... like picking up something you knocked over or closing down something on your computer.

Since the RB changes it's become really reg infested. I don't know much about WPN as it's been ages since I played there and that was 10nl, i think. Compared with 888 and Stars it much harder. It used to be ok, but now it's become like when they hold the gladiator promo.

Because he can into the Beginners Forum asking about a type of game that is specifically called "Fast Forward" and wanting to kvetch about it being too fast. I don't know what responses he was hoping for. Something like "Ya man, it's really quick" or "I know, I barely have time to click". The only reasonable response is that if "Fast Forward" is too fast for you to play two tables then you should not be playing two tables on "Fast Forward".
