I wanted to grind the 3th place and now im telling myself that maybe i should played it more safety and found a better spot

Nope but this tells me that you are folding waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many hands. ATo is like top 11% of hands so you're waiting for a better spot that requires folding for 9 hands straight. 4-handed, assuming with antes you lose over 4 big blinds just by folding.

If you consider folding this hand that means you probably snapfold hands like A5o or Q9s which is a massive mistake.

AT is fairly strong four handed. because you have less than 10BB and are on the btn, you will be seen as shoving wide, so AT is in the upper end of your shoving range. It is very possible to be looked up with smaller pocket pairs or broadway cards. You are also the short stack, and cannot wait for other players to blind out.

In this situation (un opened pot, strong hand, less than 10BB, only one big stack (25 bb) behind you, I am doi9ng a happy dance and shoving in this spot.

You're the one player that benefits the most by stealing blinds, since the blinds represent a bigger proportion of your stack. When you're the shorty, you should generally be more aggressive than the middle stacks, because you're more "desperate" than they are. It's a very clear jam.
