I have noticed something about Friday yesterday. The games are actually the most crowded between 18-02 GMT. I have seen lots of Europeans too so it makes me wonder because I thought that softest competition would be latter in the night when people return from bars.

gmt evening times are the best, except for saturday imo when its pretty soft all the time. On sundays lots of rec are playing donkaments, so its bit worse than fridays/saturdays imo. I havent grinded reg. tables seriously for quite some time, but best time to play those used to be like 3am-8am gmt since the competion was lowest during that time and u could play drunk recs shorthanded or even hu for max profit. that was in 2014, so prolly its not so juicy anymore. If ur playing super micros it doesnt matter anyway what time u play, but around 50nl+ it matters alot.

I play SnG below 10$ BI any experience you have with those? And when you say evenings are do they all feel the same to you from Monday-Thursday?

i have never played sngs and nowadays imo they are a dead end after u move up from micros (except HUsngs). I really dunno how reg-heavy are those, but prolly best time to play those is also when traffic peaks. And Thursday is better than the beginning of the week, but not by a big margin.

What would you clasiffy as microstakes as far as SnG goes? The highest possible 9 handed normal pace game at 888 poker is 10$ folowed by a 20$ 9 handed turbo anything above is HUsng. Other 9 handed normal pace Sng are 5$-3$-1$-40cent. Oh and as far as traffic goes I tried to do my research on that several times but I find sites meassuring monthly traffic or 24h peaks. Is there somwhere a chart meassuring peak traffic for every hour or every day of the week?

I seriously doubt 888 has enough traffic to be able to grind sngs seriously, since even in stars ur pretty much fo0ked once u reach 15$ level imo. According to pokerscout, traffic in 888 (and most sites) rises all evening long and peaks at 21 gmt and after that it falls rapidly. There is really no earning potential in 9max sngs, since there is action only at the micros/low stakes (much like 9handed cash). Its prolly one of the worst formats to get into imo.

Well depends what you clasify as earning potential, I see your point but i'm a beginner and looking for an extra few hundreds a month to make my student life more smooth and go from there. Could you please link me pokerscout info of what you said please , I went to their site and couldnt find it? Oh and out of curiosity what would you recommend as the most profitable formats to get into currently?

if u want to make few hundred a month it obv doesnt matter what u play. The most profitable format depends alot on what ur current skill set is/how much variance u can handle etc. All other options (cash/spins/donkaments/husngs) are prolly more profitable.

How much are you personaly looking to make out of poker monthly to make it worth it for you to play( rough estimation)? I know all other options are more profitable but I think that SnG are the format that is the easiest to get into and reach a relatively big skill increase in an short amount of time. So when I ask which one is the most profitable I mean, which one requires least amount of study to become a winning player? I know this is a question very related to the student's skill level and experience with different formats but let's asumme he is "average".

not gonna reveal my financial goals here, but i really dunno which format is easiest to become a winner in w/o studying much cause i have played for a long time and i am clearly biased. Most likely spins cause if u get a good coach u can get ahead pretty quickly since there is not much free coaching stuff floating around and the format is somewhat new.

No idea. Sharkscope leaderboard for 5-15$ 9max turbos is pretty sad tho, best player has made only 5,5k this year and only 10 guys have made more than 2k this year.

as this is becoming an exercise in bumhunting and/or reaching angels on the head of a pin territory, let's just make it simple - stt's are dead above $10's, so let's use that as our level of play. 10% roi doesn't seem unrealistic. that's $1 per donkament, puma, work it out from there

I find live games to be the softest from about dinner time-2am and proceed farther into the night from time to time if you are lucky enough to come across a drunk whale or two
