I think Doug's sense of humour is too advanced for some of his subscribers and I think he balances his serious strategy advice with about the right amount of trolling, so it's actually entertaining.

Thanks for clarifying Doug Polk, I feel happy to be able to converse with you. The guy who I see on Youtube playing for high stakes.

Also I saw your video of the two plus two party where you said "Reads are the moves man"

so yeah you know that I saw all those videos and I have seen so many of your videos at low stakes that I did not quite like, I would assume a player of your caliber would be playing somewhere high stakes games and not grinding such low stakes...

But still I appreciate the hard work that you have done, and all those videos and all the stuff takes SO MUCH TIME and ENERGY

of course that is sure and upswinglab is a great effort but I believe the rates are too high for the average guy to spend on 99$ for one month is out of reach of I think 80 percent poker players who are amateurs and they would rather sign up for galfond's 9 dollar subscription which I did

I would subscribe for 9.99$ per month but I think too much is shared on Youtube already by Douglas and users might be getting all the knowledge for free!!!

Also the free Lab Preview content on Upswing Poker is extremely valuable to a beginner.

I regretted not subscribing when I saw the new price. I considered it just before the price hike but I am just starting out at NL2. If I was further on with my game I would have subscribed as soon as I found out about it but now I realise I should have gone for it anyway!

No I mean what Polk says is 100 percent correct considering you don't want to go and level opponents, and you can go to any extent leveling your opponents but what is the use, just take the money when they make a mistake or are on tilt and be tight.

That's good poker, leveling, re-leveling sometimes it goes too far and player ends up losing big.

The best thing I like about Douglas Polk is that he is so straight and honest. How many guys are like that, and to talk to a player of his caliber I feel proud.

I can see thousands of hours and years of effort in those Youtube Videos and Upswing lab. But I think the number one problem that poker players have is they think they know it all! No one is ready to learn, every one wants to just play and learn. It happened to me too, 6 years ago when I started out if there was a mentor it would have made the difference sky high.

He should have an option of mentoring poker grinders I think that may be profitable.
