How long do you typically play in your respective cash game?

How often do you table change or take chips off?

I realize there are several variables, quality of the game, skill of players involved etc. but the reason I ask is that of my last 8/10 sessions Ive generated a 30% or better ROI. Over the 8 sessions in the black I was typically playing for about 2-3 hours.

My last two sessions have been a bit swingy but I ran up my stack to double in both only to go out barely above even before I called it a night. Both were about 5-6 hours. In the first session things were going very well, it was a good table then 3 bros sat down together. They proceeded to soft play each other and attack the other players at the table, almost colluding by providing fold protection to late position raises and chain calling raises from other players. Perhaps I should have table changed immediately, but I was confident that if I was patient, I could scoop a big pot. Didnt work out, bled down.

The 2nd session had three tough regs two of which spend most of their time playing tourneys and had just returned from the main. Two of them were quite clearly staying out of each others pots. Again, I had the best of it through the first two hours. I had actually set a quit time but played past that and picked up some strong hands that just got beat. Again, first two hours seemed fine but then I had people coming after me with hands like Q5o UTG...So obv players picking up on ranges and frequencies and just trying to outplay or hit a lucky flop.

I have some suspicions why I might be doubling my stack and then getting whittled down.

1. Players are going after my chips because of implied odds. (obv)
2. After a few hours of play, players have narrowed ranges and frequencies, which forces me to take weird lines. Ofr have picked up on some exploitable leak I am not aware of.
3. I get tired, make mistakes.
4. Colluding/Soft play amongst friendly regs.

We only have 2-100SL where I live and on any given night there might be 1-3 tables from 6-10pm. 5-7 tables Fri/Sat.

Should I just play on nights where I have more choices in table selection?
Should I be forcing myself to take weird lines and or play different ranges/styles? I do make adjustments obv. but they are usually brief (1 to 2 orbits)
If you see or suspect soft play from two to three players sitting next to each other do you leave immediately?

I know some people play super long sessions; obv. takes a lot of endurance/skill to do that. Just curious what most people are doing.

1. if people are going after you because of "implied odds" its basically like saying you can't fold big enough. chances are people's ranges are just wider and you don't realize it until you run into a hand.
2. how do people having narrower ranges force you to take weird lines? narrower ranges are easier to play against so your lines should be more standard.
3. prolly
4. soft playing has nothing to do with you losing chips

yes. you should constantly be adjusting to how others at your table are playing. if you're only adjusting briefly then falling back to your same patterns that will make you easy to play against. you want to exploit other player's weaknesses, not make it so they can exploit you easily

Sorry I said that wrong, players have picked up on ranges and tendencies.

How long is your avg session? How often do you table change?

i typically play 3-4 hrs per session, take a break to eat then do another 3-4. table changes are pretty dependent on the table. i'll usually only change if my table is too tight, maybe once every 8-10 sessions, but during the week there's not usually more then 2-3 2/5s where I play so table selection isn't typically a huge factor.
