probably better to create a new database if possible. Be nice to keep your original stats so later you can look back and see how much you've grown.

you can use the date filter and still have the info when you need it

Click Filters, under Session Dates change from "All Dates" to "Since a Date," to the right of the calendar click the dropdown arrow, select today's date (or the date you want to "start"), click "Add Selected to Filters," click OK.
I think I'd walk around dropping dollar bills before I'd delete my db. Jesus H. Christ...

Just set a date filter. It's easy to undo, deleting databases or purging them are unneccesary.
