I loved it, would/will deffo go again. Nice venue, good atmosphere, free bar. What else does one need?

I didn't really meet/interact with many people though, but that's most likely me; I mean, if I'm anything to judge by, I'd wager that a lot of online poker players also on the nerdy/not-the-most-social side of things, so some more activites to get people chatting/interracting more would have helped. The dancefloor was a bit of a barren wasteland for most of the night, too.

Before we went, my wife was a little worried it might be a bit "boys' club", but this was unwarranted, and she had just as good a time as I did.

All in all, it was top notch and I'll surely be more than interested in checking out another someday, location depending.

Are Stars persisting with pot limit format for MM Dugi? I might come out of retirement if they've seen sense and switched back to fixed.

While I think that June is a good time to start BHUNLA for those that have collage finals, there is a certain amount of ground work that can be done in the coming weeks to get the word out, both for old-timers who maybe don't hang out in BQ quite so often these days, and to attract fresh fish players.

All right, bitches. I will save this thread from the ignominy of containing no new posts for a month.

I got a free $10 from PokerHost (Winning Poker Network) for my birthday. I grinded it up to $10.71 through xpert $.01/$.02 unlimited Hold Thems play. But even a nit like myself doesn't relish such a grind. Therefore I have decided to play 5 x $2 jackpot SNGs in an attempt to make a big score. Will post results here. Stay tuned.
