Confirmed: Doyle isn't dead and is still putting kids to decisions for all their chips.
One reason the bully might take his actions is to just end the stupid tourney as quickly as possible. He'd be crazy to shove ATC if his stack is only a little bit bigger than average, but if he has a monster stack, he can afford to lose one or two "flips" while he entertains himself.
Unless you're the shortest stack on the bubble (or will get blinded out first if you're nearer to the next BB than other shorties), just fold every hand and let someone else commit ICM suicide.
FWIW, I think everyone makes this "But I had aces, so
of course I called" mistake at least once. You kind of have to feel the pain of bubbling so brutally before you realise how important it is to effectively "sit out" once you've got the ticket locked up.
