BetOnline - does anyone play here? Anyone cash out? BetOnline - does anyone play here? Anyone cash out?

I've been playing there for a few weeks because I discovered I had a few bucks there for some reason from pre-BF. I've grinded it up to about $200, but I don't think I can stand to play here any longer. Traffic is low and the software gives me cancer.

Has anyone successfully withdrawn from BOL? If so, were there fees with it? I checked out the withdrawal options last night and the fees were massive, like $50 for a check or something obscene. I've read in some places that these fees are waived for your first withdrawal per month or something, but other places suggest that's outdated and you're getting the fee no matter what. I also read that the cashouts sometimes don't go through and people get caught up dealing with their crappy CR people trying to get their money.

Any experience with this? I know the site is really small so I'm crossing my fingers here hoping someone from this forum has done this. I am especially interested in the fee thing.

P.S. I looked in the IP forum for a BOL thread but didn't see one

I haven't played poker on there but have had issues cashing out with them. They do eventually pay out but they take their sweet ****ing time about it and it wouldn't be unheard of for them to attach a bonus to winnings and try and make you play through on it.

I think you get a free withdrawal once a month but it has to be between certain times on a Friday.

The additional info is they're shady as **** and seem to pick and choose when people can get payouts or not.

Can't find the bit that specifies that you have to make it between certain times any more but I did find the general payout rules:

Payout Rules
Payouts may be requested at any time online via the cashier.

Please allow 24 hours for your payout request to be reviewed before the processing time begins.
Players are entitled to a $50.00 discount once every (30) days, on the payout method of their choice on Friday; if you would like to take advantage of this discounted or fee-free payout please specify this when making your payout request. Only players who have met the minimum rollover required are eligible for this promotion.
Payouts requests are processed Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. ET to 1:00 p.m. ET, excluding holidays.
No third-party payouts are allowed.
Your payout will be processed using the same method used for deposit if the option is available; however BetOnline reserves the right to use alternative methods for payouts if necessary, regardless of the deposit method used to fund the account.
Any player using either Skrill or Neteller to deposit must receive their payout via the same method and account used to deposit.
If making credit card deposits, please note credit card documentation will be requested. This documentation is:
- Signed and completed authorization form
- Valid photo ID
- Copies of the front and back of all cards used to deposit on your account
- If the address on your photo ID is different to the address registered to your BetOnline
account we will also require a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months
confirming the address you have registered to your BetOnline account.

Additional documentation may be required at management discretion. All the documentation required must be sent before 1:00 p.m. ET for the payout to be processed the same day.

Please note that players depositing via credit card, debit card or prepaid card are required to wait a minimum of seven business days from their last deposit prior to requesting a withdrawal.

Bank Wire instructions must be provided in the cashier every time you request a payout through this method.
If a check deposit was made, BetOnline requires 21 business days as per the clearance time before a payout can be requested.
Max payout per day depends on the specific payout method being used. Minimum and maximum payouts are subject to change without notice.
Freeplays must be used prior to requesting a payout otherwise the payout will be cancelled.
Only one Bank Wire or Check payout can be processed every three business days per player.
Payouts will only be sent to the address on file. If a player wishes to change their address, they must send a utility bill under their name with their new address. If the bills are under a third party's name, the player must first send and sign a letter of authorization stating that they live at that address. The player must also send a copy of a picture ID of the person the new address is registered under. The player then needs to send these documents via email, using the same email address used to register their BetOnline.ag account, to documents@BetOnline.ag
Checks cannot be sent to P.O. Box addresses.
Players who generate winnings from a poker freeroll and have no previous deposit are required to make a minimum deposit and roll this over at least once in the sportsbook prior to any payout being approved.

Please humor me, I've only ever withdrawn from a poker site one time (Stars, Black Friday), so I have basically no idea what I'm doing.

What is a minimum rollover? I've never actually deposited on any poker site, so the small roll I had on here initially must've been from freerolling back in the day. Is that going to cause me problems when I try to withdraw? I vaguely remember being worried it would screw up my Stars withdrawals but it never did.

It would be pure speculation for me to comment on what your rollover requirement would be. It really depends how the money came to be in your account. If it was a 'freeplay' where they allowed you to play with their money to start off with then they will probably have some requirement on this before you can withdraw.

If it was $10 and you have to roll it over 50 times then you will have to have turned over $500 (I'm making the assumption that it operates in the same way as casino here).

If you won the money through freerolls, I think it should be yours by right, but they are quite scummy so I'm not sure .

If it was your deposit originally, then its yours I would really like to think, and you should be able to get it off them in the normal time frame (Which isn't days).

Sorry can't be of more help.

Because it was so long ago I can't remember where the money came from. They very well may have dropped the money into my account. I was surprised to see it there when I logged on, as I really don't remember ever even freerolling on this site, but again, it was too long ago to remember. I didn't know sites even did that.

That's pretty ****ty if they give you a few bucks without even saying anything about it then slap some requirement on the withdrawal once you've 20x'd it.

Edit: the initial money was sitting in the poker balance, not sports balance. I'm not sure that means anything but I googled BetOnline freeplay and it seems like when they do that they stick it in sports balance?

Edit2: also, there is a "Freeplay balance" in the cashier window. That has always said $0.00

I think you are probably good to go in that case.

I would make a request to withdraw, they are quite quick at refusing requests if that is what they are going to do, but they don't always tell you. So keep an eye on your account to see if they ship it back to you and if they do then get on to live chat, procure a stress ball before doing that, as shouting at the CS staff is pointless.

Just requested a payout. I guess it's up to them now. I don't think I can even get on live chat, it says you need to have made a deposit to use it. Lol.

Never understood why these damn sites are always so concerned with whether you deposited or not. Why even offer freerolls? If the money got onto your account in a legitimate fashion and you went on to win more money fair and square off people sitting at the tables while contributing rake to the site, there is no reason on this earth why you shouldn't be given full service by that site.

We’d like to inform that your payout has been canceled due to payout rule #15 where it states that before we can process a withdrawal from freeroll-winnings, players are required to make a minimum deposit of $50.00 and roll it over once in the sportsbook. http://www.betonline.ag/rules#payout-rules
Here's their response (the important part, anyway). Can't say that comes as much of a surprise.

Is there no way I can get my money out of there then? I would feel like an absolute sucker to toss in $50 more of my own money to a site that already won't pay me, and has a history of not paying a lot of people. And I really don't like the sound of that rollover BS, I saw nightmare stories on Google about people trying to clear that crap. I've never bet in my life.

Is there any chance of getting this to go through by calling the support line or taking it up with the SBR?

I mean, apparently it's in their rules, but that's an absurd rule. I won every penny fair and square in raked hands on their client.

FYP. Sorry, but that's exactly the way they see it. If it sets your mind at ease though, I deposited $50 and later made two withdrawals for a few hundred dollars each. Received both within a week.

Which is, of course, ridiculous. It was a few dollars of their money, which was won in their own freeroll offerings (presumably in place to attract new players such as myself to the site), and was then grinded up through my skill and work winning off of other players who did deposit. The only part of that which could even be mistaken for their money was the initial few dollars. Guaranteed I generated an amount of rake at least 20x what I WON from their freeroll.

I guess I'm just screwed. I really should've tried to cash out before I grinded out so many hands for no reason.

Edit: I'm actually still not sure where the initial money came from. Evidence points to freeroll since I do that a lot on various sites and there was never any free play or apparent credit to my account

I'm in the same boat. I grinded freerolls and cash games on their site. Now I cant withdraw it without making a deposit. Its ****ing absurd. There is a trick to talk to live chat though. Go click deposit, click on more info for the money order option. Live chat pops up. Its funny how that happens when think you want to deposit. If you just have a question , they could care less. **** site full of bots anyway. I miss pokerstars.

Hi there. I think it is a common practice for all poker rooms. You have to deposit before withdrawal. This is made for security reasons. Just make a minimum deposit and you'll be able to withdraw ordinary in 48-72 hours.

I used to play on BetOnline about 4-5 years ago. Didn't mind the software and traffic was ok. But yeah they are terrible with payouts. Take forever.

Never got a check from them. I'd pay the extra and do moneygram.
