I've got enough for 1 buy in on pokerstars. I personally love tournaments and hate sit and go. I try to make it stretch in 2c tournaments but they are so slow to start

A few times I tried 27c tournaments. They were moderately fun.

1.10 seems to be what I lean toward the most, normally KO tournaments so that I can regain my stack immediately.

I want to make my stack last, but I'm probably just going to burn it all in on 27 in a Big 2K GTD :P

Assuming you are serious about playing poker and winning money, you should treat your dollar as a bankroll. In order for you to spin it up, you're going to need to be gambling with a percentage of your bankroll that is small enough that you can absorb some losses and deal with variance.

I can't remember where I got this from, but I think a good starting point is 10 buy ins for cash, 50 for sit 'n' gos, 100 for MTTs.

So, given the options actually available, your 2c tourneys are probably decent enough, just hoping you get pretty lucky and manage to double or triple your bankroll fairly quickly.

sit at 2NL and just go from there. Just keep doubling. Keep it at 50bb and then once you get 100bb, you sit at 2 tables, and then 3 and then 4. Then you start padding your roll more. Keep playing 50bb and get up when you double. I find that FR tables are easier to beat this way. Good luck.

I did consider this, but it's risky. Only do it if you don't mind losing your dollar in like 20 minutes and then having to reload.

Definitely a cash game. Tournaments require way more luck, and run good.
