learn to walk before you can run as quick as bolt does, and be sure to register for future tournaments on your winning days!

Are you playing cashgames or tourneys? Watching someone that grinds the same format and stake level on Twitch might be helpful to you. Look up xflixx, for example.

I played mostly micro stakes cash games and 0.25 spin and go. Some 0.27 and 0.55 tourneys also where it didn't go so well. I mostly made it at the money but it was min cash. So...

Literally just take your time and start slow.
I've noticed a lot of people will start with small double or nothing sngs.
Also limit yourself say you put $20 and you lose half. Take a break. Go do something. Clear your head then come back later and try.
If your one for the long game try starting with small buyin mtts.
Just gonna take patience.

At the beginner level and at low stakes, GTO play really isn't worth the effort. Players play such unbalanced styles at that level, it is better to try and play exploitively

Learn the basics, learn pot odds, learn to estimate equity. From there, learn how to read hand ranges on your opponents, and then start to incorporate more bluffs and traps after you feel comfortable estimating your opponents hand strength and playing style.

Learn to distinguish good play and running good, as well as distinguish tilt induced spewy bad play from simply running bad (this is not as easy as it sounds, especially for a beginner)

Use a HUD
Depending on the area you want to focus (cash, SnG, Tournament, HU):
Watch strategy videos
Read books
Listen to podcasts
Learn how to review your hand histories
Watch people play on Twitch
Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat.

GTO is useful in not losing vs regs.
Exploitative strategy is best vs fishy players.
Play the player, not the hand.
Learn to put your opponents into hand ranges.
Learn to calculate odds, and equity.
Make your decisions based on facts and maths, not guts -at least before you put in 10k hours of work in poker.
