If you can't get action when you want it, or games are softer elsewhere at diff times of the day/week then sure, why not?
Otherwise, just play where you're most comfortable, software is good, rake is lower or you get RB, support is good, plenty of fish etc

It's never a bad idea to have an account of different sites.
Some days, one site is just better than the other. And on rare occasions a site could be down or having problems.
Also, depending on the stakes and games you play, sometimes if you are a multi-tabling beast you can't get enough tables with just one site.

Just make sure you are getting good deals on the sites you are playing on.
I table select multiple euro sites. So the goal is to always have fishy tables.
I think if you play a lot on stars you don't have to table select on FTP, or other euro site. If you know the player pool it's easy to table select. Stars player pool is huge, and so is FTP's.
iPoker/Microgaming have smaller player pools, and less tables available. If i spent all time playing on stars, i'd be able to table select there, and probably end up with ~6 good tables, as usually. Currently i get nothing out of the VIP system on partypoker, so i'm thinking of cutting that off the list.
