If a site was reputable enough that decent players wouldn't have concerns about getting paid, then it wouldn't be soft for long in comparison to other sites

it all depends on your skill level. if you are a pro making a substantial earning out the game then 888 is a soft site and a good money earner with smaller variances, but chances are you are probabaly the matched skill level with most "competent" players on there. if you actually have this question, im gonna assume you are defo in the mix of one of the softer players so for you the site will not be "soft"

I'd also say it depends what level you are playing at, at the lowest stake you only have 50 BB stack so obviously there are a lot of considerations that go with this vs playing with a 100 BB stack.
