It's pretty much the same as 6-max except you don't have to play UTG and MP. Your CO and BTN ranges can stay the same except you are going to have to defend blinds harder because against most UTG/MP ranges you can fold a lot but you're almost never up against a strong raising range if only CO and BTN have position on you. This means you'll be playing more (and weaker) hands in general so there's lots of mistakes that can be made, hand reading is key.
