I play mainly 180s on Stars now and was planning on moving to the $35s and eventually the 60s. Now I play mostly $8s and 15s.
A friend said not to play the 35s cause they have notably stronger fields than $15s and lower.
Well, what should I play then? I figured I'd just climb the ladder with 180s.
BR large enough to support $35s now but wondering if there's something else I should play and if so what.
I reached a goal only to be told another goal may be better.
For now I'm sticking with $8s and $15s, but what about next month?

Its not like you have to soley move to $35, and quit playing the $8 and $15

you can transition to it while playing the others as well.

lol if you think 4k is enough for $35s, are you sure you play 180s

next month? you still play 8s and 15s unless you really want to go broke

add 3.50r 180's and forget $35's all together until you have 6k+ br.

100+ BIs for 180s. Higher for MTTs. 4k is well enough to play a few $35s.
Ok, well my question is what to do after the $15s.
I'll be playing some 3r, 8s and 15s for now.

I play 180s around MTTs, ofcourse I could use more volume but $35s are almost appropriate according to my BR imo. Only been playing 180s for a month or so. Only been able to play on Stars or any "euro" sites for 2 months. Recently moved to Costa Rica.
Have any of you played the $35s and found them to be more difficult? Are there more regs in $35s? What's the best way up the mountain?

check out the PG&C forum. There's a tonne of 180 regs in there. A lot of really good players are looking for alternatives or moving to MTTs as above the $8s and $3r they are insanely reg infested.

and further on from above, the games seem to be getting considerably tougher. I dont play them, just passing on what seems to be the general sentiment from that forum.

Wow your sample size is so small, sorry to break it to you but I would def stick at the lower limits until I had at least a few thousand games sample to get a decent idea of if you are winning long term (not insulting)

Sigh. Yeah. Small sample. Basically a month worth of 180s and not much more of MTTs. I don't want to be a nit with my roll nor spew it. 180s I think I'm fine where I'm at and I'm slowly adding a few MTTs as BR permits. Eventually I think I'll just end up phasing out the 180s. They're meant to be MTT prep anyway imo.
