I live in Colorado Springs and just got a flier about this "lucky you 777". Apparently it's a local non casino place that you can play some sort of online slot machines?? I looked it up on internet and looks like they are all over the country. Curious what they are and what loop hole these people found to do this legally?

They are sweepstakes cafes. Sweepstakes is the legal loophole so to speak. Basically, you don't have to purchase anything and get free sweepstakes entries. Or, when you do purchase a product like internet time or computer usage, you get more free entries. Just like McDonald's monopoly or publishers clearing house. The difference at these cafe's is you reveal your entries on a simulated slot game, cards, roulette, etc. Gaming authorities don't like them because they simulate gambling when they are no different than any other sweepstakes. The problem is you get a lot of crooks in the business and it ruins it for everyone. I live in Colorado Springs also and there was one claiming to be a sweepstakes cafe that was running real slots (8 liners). It was robbed, the manager called the police, raided the same night by the cops. Probably setup from the beginning by gaming or a casino. Plus the govt doesn't receive any taxes from it so they generally side with the gaming industry to close them down. All of them in Colorado Springs are decent as far as payout goes but my favorite is the gold cyber cafe in Security.
