Considering Harrah's ate my comps up a while back while I never used them, and it's taken me over a year to gain $30 of it back, I don't think that will matter to me...haha. Remember you have to gain a point every 6 months to maintain your comp balance! Greedy bastards...

I have vegas, philly, and atlantic city down. Labor day weekend we are going to st louis and on the way hitting metropolis and horseshoe in Indiana. Between the 2 of us this will be $1200. I have been looking at the things I can get with 120,000 points (60k ea.)

I can not decide if I should take a really nice weekend with a room/dinner/spa pretty much all paid for or if I should buy a laptop and LCD tv from their website.

(I can't wait for great gift wrap up this year, I hit up a lot of GGWU promotions for extra points... WEEEEEE)

Its a good promo IF you happen to be visiting some Harrahs locations, but if your just driving from one to the other just to get this promo, how much in gas will the average person use up trying to accomplish this? Just wondering as I dont know that this has been asked as yet.

It depends on location obviously. I'll be making a 2 hour detour to Metropolis while driving to Tunica sometime next month. That will probably be 15 bucks extra in gas, but me and my g/f will get an extra $150 in comps each for it.

I live in Pittsburgh and we are gong to St. Louis ONLY because of this promotion. If we were to drive to st. louis and hit the 3 harrahs locations and drive directly home we would spend $210 in gas and approx 28 hours. I already had the vegas one and to drive to atlantic city and chester it would cost $100 and 12 hours. 6 locations for $310 to get $1200 in comps. Its worth it to me but it may not be to others.

However we have made this a reason to make a nice weekend trip. We are swinging down through Louisville to go to Churchill Downs and Louisville Slugger tours, then to st louis to see the arch and the Brewmaster beer tour at Budweiser. I also have a casino chip collection so I will be able to stop at 10 casinos that I have never been too. We do not plan on gambling at all during this trip other than required at Harrahs. We are staying in 2 hotels, food, tours, and small BR for chips and harrahs and we will do this entire weekend for under $600. Essentially we are going to do this trip for free once we get the harrahs points for the three casinos we are hitting up.

Plus we would have eaten anyways so that is not an extra expense and I am sure we would have done something local such as a movie or bar so we would have spent money there too.

Are you guys able to see online anywhere which destinations you have gotten credit for? I swiped in at the kiosk and earned a few points at Harrah's St. Louis, but under "My Badges" on the promo page, there is nothing.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think those "Badges" are for doing stupider things like visiting Harrah's Casinos' facebook sites. In terms of tracking your point accumulation at live casino destinations, I don't think Harrah's is allowing you to find that. So we have to go on faith that Harrah's will keep proper track/pay out properly.

If you complete the 6 destinations, when do you get your 60,000 points? Is it just deposited into your account on a certain day?

It says on or before October 31.
