video poker

Does anyone know if acvpp (the Yahoo Group on AC Video Poker) is still accepting new members? The number of members has been at 856 for at least several weeks. I requested to join the group last November and also emailed the owner but have not yet received a response or an approval.

On another note, I have an upcoming 9X reward credit multiplier coming up at Showboat AC (Caesars). Is the 9X applied in addition to my earned RCs or is the 9X multiplied to my earned tier credit?

For example, if I played $1000 coin in at VP, I would normally receive 100 tier credits and 100 RCs. With the 9X multiplier, would I be receiving a total of 900 or 1,000 RCs?

Re: video poker

should be 900. typically your base points arent affected which im assuming are your tier credits. but the amount you can use as comps is affected and its just 9x your normal amount. so instead of receiving 100 youd receive 900.

Multipliers are for Reward Credits. They are never good for Tier Credits.

I had a 12X multiplier on 1/1/12. If the multiplier were good for Tier Credits, I would have taken advantage of that offer.

Re: video poker

With a 9X multiplier, you'll get 900 RCs total for every 100 Tier points. You get 800 "Bonus RCs" on top of your typical 100 RCs per 100 Tier Points to satisfy the multiplier.

In some places, multipliers can work for live poker too for extra comps based on Tier points given per hour. Im not sure about St. Louis though, I grinded with a 4X multiplier today and thought I would get $1.25/hr vs. the normal 75c/hr, but I got about 98c/hr instead. *shrug*
