Guys, can you help me out here. I have to grind through a casino bonus at an online poker site that also has sports betting and casino games. They have video poker. I tried to look up some of the pay tables here http://www.videopoker.com/learn/pay_tables/ but many of the VP games on Betcoin arent listed there. All this being said, I also only know how to play JoB and DW, and a couple bonus variations, never played Joker poker or any of the other VP games.

The JoB there looks OK I think! DW didnt seem above 99% from what I could tell.

Didnt realize Wiz of Odds had a paytable calculator! 5x Job with reduced quads and SF pays 0.982534, the 5-100x multiplay Bonus Poker with the 10-5 structure pays nicely, even though Im not positive on perfect strategy for the reduced flush bonus:

Wiz also has a program that will produce a strategy chart based on a paytable you input so give that a try. If that doesn't work then most of the commercial software should be able to handle your request.

I still want to find a training software that tells you what your expected EV is based on your play. I don't want to know that I am 99% accurate I want to know how much ev I am losing by my mistakes. If the only mistakes Im making is penalty card mistakes then my ev is extremely close to max. If on the other hand my mistakes are major ev mistakes then I am not positive ev (unlikely).

On WoV I asked a fee weeks ago if there is a practice game that keeps your actual return. I wanted to calculate how much my mistakes are costing me. The answer that I got was wizard has a training app but only for apple. Nothing for pc or droid.

Win Poker app for iPhone. 10 bucks but useful for a variety of reasons.

Video Poker For Winners does what you're asking. It's one of the more expensive programs but does have a free 7 or 10 day trial.

Neither of these are for Droid though.

If you want to practice on the actual computer with something that keeps track of your errors by EV, I'd just download frugal video poker for free if your computer will run it. They even have a "flash card" mode where you don't even have to see the results of the draws.

Last night I played 6000hands of fpdw at 3 different casinos and about 20 different fpdw machines..I missed 22 four card royal draws( 0-139 total) and kept missing that draw at all the casinos...does this prove that the machines are all the same and that I wouldve had the same result if I just sat at one machine all night? tks

You played 6k hands of single line and we're dealt 4 to a royal 22 times? I am not believing that. I played 9k hands yesterday over 13 hours and only had 5 4 to a royal.

And five 4 to a royal draws is above average for 9k hands! Gf and I missed three of them in Tunica last weekend. Bah.

It's possible he meant he got 22 final hands that had four of five royal cards. Finishing with four to a royal in your hand is a little more rare than quads in a non-wild game.

Tring got it right--I had 22 true four card royal scare misses...not everyone of them was a dealt four card royal draw...i never claimed that they were 22 dealt..Played 10K hands the past few nights and 0-10( 0-149) The worst Ive heard of is 0-256..hopefully I wont break that record

Figured you meant draws. I never though about counting misses. What if you have AK non suited but end up with 4 card royal, does that count? I would only count it if I held just an ace and ended with 4 card.

A better way is to count "scares." A "scare" is where you end up with four-to-the-royal when the missed card is the last one to fill in the hand. You should have ~47 scares per RF.

no problem..Ak non suited--the four card royal would count unless a blank card came first..yeah if you held an ace and ended with 4 card that counts as well..don't forget to count ur double scares too..if ur dealt AKQJx and miss then thats 0-2

Last week my father went up to vegas to take advantage of a free play offer.
