I have found something along the lines that single spins online are not independent events, but do depend on a history. I think it is nonsense. But on the other hand, it is definitely possible to include the history of last XY spins with given player in the outcome.

What is 2+2 consensus on that?

I am nto sure if you are asking about a live setting of an online setting. But in a live setting in a places such as Nevada, Atlantic City and many others.. each spin is an independent event not dependent on previous outcomes.

it is about online settings.

Puhhh ..... I googled something like "online slots pay-out structure". I have to look if I can find it again. It didn't look like any serious information. More like usual "winning with martingale"/"wing big and leave" site.

All online slots aren't created equal Some *are* rigged, and the Wizard of Odds has covered it. It depends on how any given slot machine engine is coded.

Since it is a computer program you conclusion might be true. Slots have setting which the casino sets and on that setting your faith of winning is within that setting. That is why some slots are rigged because of casino keeps changing that settings.
