Shuffle tracking where to begin

I am interested in shuffle tracking. I was wondering what a beginner should do to learn more. Should i buy some books. Which books would you reccomend. Also if you could direct me to threads about this.

Thank You

Have you tried practicing? You're looking for a shoe that goes straight down.

You could start by checking out the forums and software at Qfit.com.

It's not the sort of thing you should just jump into after mucking around on the kitchen table for a while. There are many subtleties and complications.

Another good source would be Arnold Snyder's Blackjack Shuffle Tracker's Cookbook.

PM me for a little more if you like.

Re: Shuffle tracking where to begin

whatever you do don't just try to wing it like me... ha ha ha! First you need a weak shuffle to attack. One store I played in had the details of their shuffle written out on a pad of paper for the dealers! A+D B+C etc. kind of funny. personally i think you might be better off attempting to ace sequence. Mason Malmuth wrote an interesting essay on 'card domination' that might be worth a perusal. anyway until you can do it at home, minimicing the cards and the shuffle...

Quite common. If you watch one dealers sequence, you should actually expect all future shuffles in that store will follow the same sequence -- right down to when they spin the cards.
