I've done different things but mainly just don't cash the chips right after leaving the table.

If you play at some places regularly just keep some extra chips in your pocket and a) cash them at the cage your next trip or b) buy in with them the next time you play.

Also, I often play VP, grab food, piss and do other things after playing but before leaving the casino in which case I imagine cage and put are unlikely to track you.

I imagine tracking players' cashouts at bigger casinos with lots of players and cage transactions would be impractical for all but for the biggest players.

Just my 2 cents. I'm sure others are more informed/experienced on the subject.

Re: Pocketing chips when playing BJ rated?

I like to "give" chips to people I'm there with, if I have a freind or my girl there I'll pass the chips off to them to "play" and then just keep the money till we're outside of the casino. Dealer usually wont care and if you're doing enough for the eye to care they'll probably notice ratholing anyway.

Re: Pocketing chips when playing BJ rated?

I do it at Sands Bethlehem, PA all the time. I either color in for the same or a lower amount that I bought in for and pocket the winnings(blacks, greens, etc.)

Or sometimes I just walk away with all the chips(black, green and a handful of reds) without coloring in and go straight to the cashier.

Sands is one of the few casinos that has daily Win/Loss calculations available online and I see my losses at $2400. When I know fully well I'm ahead that amount and much more. So it does work to the extent of comping and getting free slot play every week.

Re: Pocketing chips when playing BJ rated?

Was playing with the$100 earlier today and i took a black chip off the table after going up a few bets and the pit boss asked me not being5 mins later how much i put in my pocket. I wasn't trying to conceal my actions.
