I wonder what would real edge be (asuming no counting, they cutoff 40% deck, not that much to count anyway). Any ideas on what to surrender against ace?

surender against any dealer card (incl. ace)
dealer stops at soft 17
Are you talking about Early Surrender? If so thats a nice rule in the players favour but won't give you a positive edge to just flat bet without counting.

Typical 6 deck euro ruleset has an house edge around 0.17 to 0.24% playing perfect basic strategy.
If this rule gives at least 0.2% additional edge (wich i guess it does), then it should become positive EV game.
