I played at Calder race track yesterday.I had a run of 7,7 2,3, 7,11,3,7,7 than finally a 9.I spoke to another player who said he was a tech and that these machines are marketed as slot machines and are electromechanicaly controlled just like slots. Are there any techs out there that can verify this? I don't know the stats of a nine number run like the one above but it seems highly unlikely...Thanks

I rolled 5 hard 6s in a row at Rio last summer. Statistically unlikely but it happens.

2 days ago a guy told me they had 4 hard 6's in a row. This is sounding very fishy. It would be great if someone who knows about the inner workings of these things would chime in.

Not at the craps machine. It was playing the actual game.

The odds of rolling 7,7,2,3,7,11,3,7,7,9 is about 1 / 10 billion, so you're probably right that it's rigged.

It's craps, uncommon things happen. A four hour roll is, for all intents, a statistical impossibility but it's happened. Hitting boxcars, the hardways, and snake eyes in descending order on six consecutive rolls is incredibly rare, but I've personally watched it happen.

My personal favorite was alternating seven/yo for eight rolls coming out. I was the shooter, and betting wrong lol.

I certainly doubt they pay like slots, since I have no idea how you'd do that. One bettor plays right, another plays wrong. It'd be easy to pick out a midnight bias if the machine were trying to maintain a slot machine payout.

I agree with most everything posted above. However,it's still a computer and I would love to at least crack open one of the dice and see if it's truly a hollow plastic cube.
I was also wondering if anyone else has been able to repeat a number by allowing the dice to settle in a corner and than pop up very low and come straight back down on the same number.
